Sara Pain, who says she is not qualified?

Published by drewnel under Uncategorized Edit This

Who says Sara Palin is not qualified to be president?  The liberal media thats who.  But waite, Mr. Obama has less experience than Sarah Palin.  He has less than four years in the senate and two of those have been spent running for president.  Whats more his voting record in the senate shows he has been unabe to take a stance on any important issues.  He votes present instead of yes or no when he votes.  Is’ent that something.  Sarah Palin has exerience as a chief executive where she has had to take a stand on issues and she has been pretty successful, after all she took on big oil, corruption and put a stop to the bridge to nowhere.  Obama was a community organizer.  He worked with people like Jim ayres ( the whether man bomber from the sixties) and what about his anti american paster of many years and his personal anti Isreal sentaments.  Well those are just personal attacks on this poor man even if those thing are really reresentitive of his experience.  Poor man, he has a house worth over one million dolars.  Thats another personal attack.  Ok, lets tak about his experience.  Go aheah.  A, I’m drawing a blank, he really does not have any relavent experience to be president.  Exacty the point.  Sarah Palin on the other hand has had experience as chief executive of a state. You mean like Ronad Regan.  Yea, and that is the type expreience a person needs to be president beause that is what the president is, the chief executive of the U.S. Government. Well where is all this stuff about her being unqualidied comming from.  Wolf Blitzer, Loe Dobbs and the rest of the ultra liberls from CNN.  Who do you think made a big deal out of the worde robe issue (or non-issue as it is really) when obama has raised and spent an ungodly amount of money.  Most recent obscene spending being multi-millions for an infomercial.  They have’nt been able to come up with any real dirt on Sara Palin or her famiy so they try to blow petty non-relavent issues up out of proportion to make her look bad.   Is’ent it unethical for journalists to tryto slant the news to infuence their audiance.  It was years ago when I took Journalisn 101.  What has changed since then.  Nothing really, it is still unethical for journalists to try to slant the news the way they want.  They are supposed to be objective right.  That is right.

Jobs are at stake, maybe yours

Published by drewnel under Uncategorized Edit This

As the economic downturn continues it looks like it will get a lot worse soon.  If the democrates  win as anticipated the job loss situation will get much morse.  A tax cut for the middle class will do nothing to stimulate the economy.  A tax increase on people making over 250,000 will do nothing for the government.  A tax increase on corporations will stimulat job loss as more companies move off shore, cut their reinvestments in their business, and/or lay people off as the economy contracts.  The democtatic economic philosopy is greatly flawed.  The spread the wealth around mentality is socialism pure and simple.  Wake up america you are about to be shafted big time.

The Economic Crisis

Published by drewnel under Uncategorized Edit This

As more and more homeownwea face foreclosure it seems inevitable that the government will initiate a plan to help individual families no matter who is elected.  Given the situation this is probably a good thing as millions of foreclosures would devistate the housing market for years to come and increase the numbr of homless exponentially.

The bailout of large financial institutions will not work if the government does not help individual families stay in their homes.  If the bailout is managed properly it can become a wind fall of monumental proportions for the government.  Buying the “bad paper” at a fraction of its face value and then holding it until it doubles or triples in value would allow the government to recoup the $700+ billion plus a hole lot more.  There shoud be a law as part of the bailout legislation that forces the government to hold the paper until the time is right to capture the wind fall.  All of the extra mony coud be used to pay down the debt and shore up social security.  This will take patients and disipline but eventually the housing market will turn around and the “bad paper” will be worth much more than it cost.  This scenario will not play out if the democrates win the whitehouse however, because they will spend any potential gain before it is realized on big government give away programs.

Political scene today

Published by drewnel under Uncategorized Edit This

As I sit here and listen to the totally biased commentary from CNN it occurs to me that we are going to have a new democratic president next week. Why because of the economic crisis.  The race is so close, dispite what the biased CNN commentators tell you, that the economic crisis has created just enough of a shift for the Democrates to win.  Talk about perfect timing and luck.  The masses of democratic leaning voters are not thinking things through, they are just hoping for some relief from the economic hard times.  The democrates are playing them with the idea of a tax cut.  If you think about it a tax cut really won’t do anything for the average family in this country.  It will at most add up to a couple of hundred dollars and will be gone in a nano second.  Where will this money go.  Well I would be willing to bet that the average family in this country has some credit card debt and that many of these families are in financial troube and probaby get a lot of collection calls.  These families will percieve the credit cards to be the hottest fire they have and this money will end up going to pay the extemely high interest rtes and late fees.  The democratic tax cut willl end up as a wind fall for credit card and finance companies (or somthing similar) and will do nothing to stimulate the economy.
